On the grand finale of the FDCI Hyundai India Couture Week 2024, the spotlight was firmly on the stunning duo of Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina. As they gracefully walked the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta’s latest collection, “Arunodaya,” their undeniable chemistry stole the show.
Khushi Kapoor, looking resplendent in a silver fishtail lehenga adorned with thousands of dripping crystals, pearls, and Zardozi embroidery, turned heads. Her matching full-sleeve blouse and delicate cape-like sleeves pinned to her shoulders added an elegant touch. Vedang Raina, on the other hand, exuded sophistication in a midnight black sherwani jacket with classic embroidered swirl detailing, paired with black dress pants and polished black brogues.
The collection, Arunodaya, symbolized hope, renewal, and infinite possibilities. It featured serene tones of white, ivory pearl, comet blue, petal pink, mauve, slate, sand, Bordeaux, and lava. Intricate embroideries, including Indian zardozi and cage embroidery, brought the dawn narrative to life. Sheer fabrics evoked the lightness of dawn, while opulent lehengas, saree gowns, and draped sarees showcased Gaurav Gupta’s craftsmanship and innovative spirit.
In an exclusive interview, Gaurav Gupta shared, “Khushi and Vedang represent young love—a beacon of hope for the future. This collection is all about hope and light.” Khushi, walking for a designer for the first time, was graciously welcomed backstage by Gupta himself.
As the fashion world buzzes with excitement, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina continue to captivate hearts, leaving us eagerly awaiting their next appearance on the runway. 🌟
